Program for Prevention of Corruption and Settlement of Conflict of Interests in Federal Grid Company for 2012-2014
The Program for Prevention of Corruption and Settlement of Conflict of Interests in Federal Grid Company in 2012-2014* contains a list of measures to implement Anti-Corruption Policy areas: anti-corruption expertise, procurement, anti-corruption monitoring and conflict of interests management, etc. Particular attention is paid to the creation of intra-corporate climate that is conducive to effective prevention of corruption, legal education and laying the foundations of law-abiding behavior of the Company employees.
The effectiveness of implementation of the Program will be evaluated on the basis of a number of indicators:
- — the number of identified or prevented cases of corruption on the part of the Company's employees;
- — dynamics of discovered cases of corruption in Federal Grid Company in the reporting period;
- — the proportion of the total number of reports about the facts or signs of corruption practices on the part of the Company's employees confirmed by inspections.
Federal Grid Company expects that the implementation of the Program will:
- — reduce the level of corruption in the Company;
- — enhance the trust of shareholders, the investment community, administrative authorities and contractors to Federal Grid Company`s activities;
- — reduce the risk of involving the Company and its employees, regardless of position, in corrupt activities;
- — form anti-corruption awareness among employees of Federal Grid Company;
- — reduce costs of the Company`s operations;
- — improve the Company's reputation and image.
